Effortless Giving
How can you give money to St. Jhn’s without even trying? Use a St. John’s Kroger Gift Card. It’s really quite simple:
1. Purchase a $10 St. John’s Kroger Gift card from Gayle Box any Sunday.
2. Visit any Kroger’s to add any amount up to $500 to your gift card.
3. Pay for groceries, gas or liquor at any Kroger’s by using your gift card – one swipe and your bill is paid. Your receipt lists your card balance.
4. When your card balance gets low, simply tell the cashier you want to add money to your card.
Every time you put money on your gift card, Kroger puts 4% of the amount added in an account for St. John’s. What an easy way to benefit our parish!
If you have a card but haven’t used it recently, you may need to purchase a new one. After an extended period of non-use, Kroger cancels the card.
If you shop at Kroger’s, please take advantage of this opportunity to support St. John’s.
Happy Shopping!

During our Holy Conversations I promised to establish a Flower Ministry. It is underway with the cooperation of Cindy Kinkead, and the Eucharistic Ministers. The idea is to share some of the flowers that have been blessed for use in the altar vases with our members who are receiving Holy Communion at their place of residence. We are using bud vases and other small vases for the flowers. That is where you can help. Please donate your excess bud and small vases for this ministry. I will place a basket or box on the stage labeled for the vases. Also, Cindy has contacted other members who are also willing to arrange the flowers. If you are one of those individuals who has agreed to take a turn at this task, please leave me enough flowers for two small vases. I will plan on preparing them on Saturday afternoons unless you notify me of the need for a different time. My phone number is 859-873-5728.
